What ages do you treat?

North Durham Pediatric Dentistry cares for kids from 6 months through age 13.

How do I know if my child needs to see a pediatric dentist?

If your child is between 6 months and 13 years old, a pediatric dentist is a great fit. Pediatric dentists are specially trained to care for kids’ developing teeth, manage childhood habits like thumb-sucking, and make visits positive—even for anxious little ones. Whether it’s your child’s first tooth or their first cavity, we’re here to help.

What makes pediatric dentists different?

Pediatric dentists receive two additional years of training after dental school to focus on children’s teeth, behavior, and special needs. That’s why so many families choose a pediatric specialist for kids' dental care.

Do you take my insurance?

We’re in-network with Delta Dental, United Concordia, and Medicaid—and we’re working to add more. We also file claims for most major plans, even if we’re out-of-network. Read more >
